Travel TRAVEL. Venice can be easily reached by air travel, train, and bus. From both the central bus station at Piazzale Roma and the nearby train station, the conference venue and accomodation can be reached on foot or by water bus. It is highly recommended to print a map in advance. From the Marco Polo airport there is a frequent bus connection to Piazzale Roma. The scenic route is by the Alilaguna vaporetto to Zattere station (takes almost two hours).
