Curriculum Vitae

University degree: University degree in Physics, at the Department of Physics "Galileo Galilei", University of Padua. Title of the thesis: "Predictability of a meteo-marine numerical model in the Mediterranean". Supervisors: prof. P. Lionello,dr. P. Malguzzi.

Line of studies: Applied Physics (methodologies for the environment). Special courses of this line of studies:

  • model identification and data analysis
  • laboratory of physical technologies for the environment
  • microclimatology,geophysical fluid dynamics
  • meteorology
  • climatology
  • snow and ice processes
  • remote sensing in meteorology
The latter four courses have been taken in the University of Bergen, Norway, during one semester stay as a Socrates-Erasmus student.

Today's activity:Fellowship holder at the department of Physics, University of Padua: research on numerical simulations with air-sea coupled models.

Foreign languages: Knowledge of English based on five years study at school, one summer study in UK, and one semester stay in Norway. Basic knowledge of French, based on three years study at school. Basic knowledge of Norwegian, based on one semester stay in Norway and three months language course taken in Norway.

Work experience: Able to work with UNIX and Windows operating systems, to program in FORTRAN77 and FORTRAN90, and to use Latex for writing documents; familiar with NCARG graphics.Attendance to courses of f90 and computer graphics at CINECA.
