Graduated in Physics in 1998, at Physics Department `Galileo Galilei', University of Padua. Title of the thesis: Application of meteo-marine coupled numerical models in a cyclogenesis 
case study in the Mediterranean. Supervisors: prof. P.Lionello, dr. P.Malguzzi.

Good knowledge of english, based on five years private study and five months stay in UK. 
Very good knowledge of French, based on five years study at school and two months stay in France.

Work experience

  • 1998-1999: fellowship holder at Physics department, researching on air-sea fluxes exchange over Mediterranean with MIAO model
  • 1999-2000: fellowship holder at ARPAV (environmental protecion agency of Veneto) - Verona, dealing with asbestos pollution problems and disposal techniques
  • 2000-2002: collaboration at ARPAV - Teolo, dealing with meteorological models statistical verification and operational forecasting

Interests

  • Climate modelling in the Mediterranean region
  • Limited area models

Present activities

  • PHD student at Lecce University.
  • Fellowship holder at Physics department, University of Padua: research on heat-fluxes, based on numerical simulations with atmospheric models and data assimilation.
