FLAP (Friday Lunch with AstroParticles) is a series of informal seminars based at the Pysics Departement of the University of Padova. It aims at bringing together the community operting there in the field of experimental/observational Astroparticle Physics.
This is a discipline born over past years at the interlay between more traditional fields in Physics research, namely Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology.

The relevant topics are:
-- high-energy astrophysical processes
-- dark matter and dark energy
-- the cosmic microwave background and other cosmological observables
-- gravitational waves
-- neutrino in Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology.

In addition to the presentation of current research items in Astroparticle Physics, FLAP aims at providing an informal environment to discuss and share ideas, especially for young researchers like Ph.D. students and postdocs. Therefore, the seminars will be held at noon, and right after the presentation and the following discussion, there will be the possibility for speakers and attendees to have lunch together.
