| The building is located in Via Altinate, in the area where the Monastery of the "Teatini" Friars once stood. At the beginning of the nineteenth century it became the venue for the Padova Court of Justice and continued to be so until 1992. Unfortunately the building was destroyed by a fire in 1929, but was rebuilt during the following four years. With its 11.000 squared meters it will become the largest Italian Center for culture and will play host to the civic Library, art exhibitions, concerts and conferences. |
