Dear Colleagues, it will not be possible to have the next SPD meeting during the September Alice Week in Erice, since it clashes with the start of the Pb run, and therefore many of us (including myself) will be busy at CERN with the setting-up of NA57. On the other hand, it is very important that we have a meeting in September, to discuss the status of the Alice1 chip and of the planning. The month of September is rather constrained by the p and Pb runs of NA57 and by the LEB meeting in Krakow, so there is not a large choice of dates. The only remaining week is the one from 18/9 to 22/9. I am not available on 18 and 19/9, and I would not like to schedule the meeting in the last days of that week, since it would interfere too much with the preparations for the Pb run. This essentially leaves 20/9 as the possible date. I therefore propose to have the next SPD meeting at CERN on 20/9. Please, let me know if this causes other major clashes. Ciao, all the best, Federico
