My father was born on June 26, 1927. After getting a Masters degree in Christian Archaeology (Venice, 1954) he become a journalist, and in 1958 founded a political review, "Questitalia", which was published monthly through 1970. In 1982 he won an Associate Professor position at the University of Venice, where he taught Medioeval Art History and in 1986 became Full Professor.
