Program modes
The program runs in two mutually
exclusive working modes or program
environments: the Draw & Run mode and the Cut & Paste mode. On the left of the Symbol bar (the top bar where the cell symbols are displayed), an inscription in dark blue notifies the current working mode.
At start, the program
is set in the Draw & Run mode. To change to the Cut & Paste mode, click
button 
(Select) on the Top
toolbar (just above the Symbol bar) or choose Select
in menu Edit. To go back to the Draw & Run mode, click button 
(Deselect), near button Select, or choose Deselect in menu Edit.
We recommend you
practice in both modes to reach a clear understanding of how the cellular automata work.
