The  tenth session of the series "Selected Topics in Nuclear and Atomic Physics" will take place from October 1st to October 5th, 2005. Since 1999 we have moved the site of the meeting from Varenna, its traditional site, to Fiera di Primiero, a small town in the Italian Dolomites.  Thanks to the hospitality of the local authorities the meeting will be held at the Palazzo delle Miniere, an ancient medieval palace dating from the XV century.
 

Along the tradition of the previous meetings, the skeleton of the program will be formed by a series of  lectures on different subjects of general interest. The topics for this year and the corresponding lecturers are:

Accommodation.
Participants will stay at the CONCA VERDE Hotel (+39 0439 62490). The Conference Fee of 400,00 Euro (cash)  includes lodging and full pension from September 30th, dinner, to October 6th, breakfast.

Travel.
In order to reach Fiera you have to take an  AtesinaLines  bus from Feltre (just in front of the railway station).
Buses are leaving Feltre at 7:50,  9:45, 12:10, 13:10, 14:55; 17:20, 18:50, 19:45. Travel takes approximately 60 minutes.

Feltre  can be reached by train from Padova or Venezia-Mestre.
 

From Padova:
Most convenient trains are at 7:23 (reaching Feltre at 9:23);  9:28 (10:53); 11:30 (12:49); 12:50 (14:24); 13:45 (15:25); 14:53 (16:29); 15:32 (17:08); 17:05 (18:26); 18:15 (19:42); 19:14 (20:44); 21:11 (22:34); 22:46 (00:11).

Social activities.

A small welcome is organized for Friday 30 September evening, at 9:00 p.m.
A full afternoon excursion will be scheduled during the Meeting (please remember to bring your trekking shoes).

Weather.
It is hoped that the weather will be sunny throughout the entire week. Evenings, however, tend to be rather cool and you are thus encouraged to bring along a warm sweater and/or a rain jacket
