design of complex mechanical components implementing AM technology;
management and maintenance and training for related equipment;
Metrology Laboratory; Composite Materials Laboratory;
Silica characterization laboratory (clean room);
Detector development and assembly laboratory (clean room);
X-ray facility: irradiation machine up to 80 kV, with movement and reference sensor;
SIRAD irradiation facility in co-management with LNL for the study of bulk damage and Single Event Effects using ion beams produced by the Tandem accelerator;
Management and development of the controlled atmosphere laboratories (Clean-Room) of the section and the equipment dedicated to them.
